🌱 Day 3 – Practicing Self-Compassion
Reflection:
As we clear space and set intentions, old thoughts and habits can surface. This is normal. Today is about giving yourself permission to be human while tending the soil where God’s work will take root. Self-compassion is not self-pity — it’s the grace that keeps you steady and prevents shame from creeping into your process. Think of this as preparing soft soil so roots can grow deep when the time comes.
Scripture:
“The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.” — Psalm 103:8 NKJV
Today’s Invitation:
Write down three areas where you will give yourself grace during this week.
Examples:
“I will give myself grace when I miss a day.”
“I will give myself grace as I learn to pray out loud.”
“I will give myself grace while adjusting my schedule.”
Keep your list visible as a reminder that preparation is a journey, not a performance.
Closing Prayer/Affirmation:
Lord, thank You for Your mercy and grace. Help me to mirror Your compassion toward myself as I grow. I release shame and embrace Your kindness, knowing You are patient with me. Amen.
Meet me back here tomorrow for Day 4 as we set spiritual rhythms and build sacred time into our days.
With grace and grit,
