🌿 Mindset Matters
Cultivating Trust
When the soil feels still but something is still growing underneath.
Take a slow breath.
Inhale peace.
Hold hope.
Exhale control.
You have done enough for now.
Breathe and trust that something sacred is already taking shape.
If your mind has been loud lately, it’s okay.
You have been doing the hard work of clearing, uprooting, and aligning.
But transformation always reaches a quiet moment where the next step is not about doing more.
It is about trusting that what you have already done is enough for now.
Trust is what makes everything you have planted take root.
Not only trust in God, but trust in the version of yourself He is revealing through the process, the one who listens, obeys, and no longer second-guesses her growth.
📖 Scripture
“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in Him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.”
— Jeremiah 17:7–8 NKJV
🌱 Reflection
Cultivating trust feels strange at first.
It is like tending a garden after the rain. The ground looks still, but something is quietly shifting beneath the surface.
You may not see it yet, but your faith is working beneath what looks like silence.
Sometimes we confuse stillness with stuck-ness.
But stillness is not silence. It is sacred space.
It is where trust steadies your spirit between what was and what will be.
This is the in-between. The space where faith turns from language into lifestyle.
Where you stop asking “how long” and start saying “I believe.”
Trust means letting go of the timeline you had in your head.
It means believing that God has not forgotten what He whispered to your heart when no one else was listening.
It is saying:
💜 “Even if I cannot see movement, I know You are working.”
💜 “Even if I feel delay, I choose to believe it is development.”
💜 “Even when I am tired, I will rest and not retreat.”
🌾 Today’s Invitation
You have done the work. Now water it with trust.
1️⃣ Revisit Your Seed
Look back over the last few weeks. What did you plant in faith? What promises, prayers, or habits did you begin that need water instead of worry?
2️⃣ Release the Timeline
Write down one area where you have been trying to force a harvest.
Then write this truth beside it: “It will happen in its season, not my schedule.”
3️⃣ Reaffirm Your Root
Ask yourself: What truth has God already proven to me that I can hold onto right now?
That is your anchor and your evidence of His trustworthiness.
📝 Journal Prompt
• What does trust look like for me right now?
• Where am I being asked to wait in faith, not fear?
• How can I rest without losing focus?
📒 If you are using your planner, continue with the rest of the promptings in your Faith in Motion section. Trust is movement, even when it looks like stillness.
🌟 Extending the Practice of Mindset Matters
In our coaching space, this is where we practice the rhythm of release, the spiritual discipline of loosening our grip so we can walk in grace.
We learn to replace anxious control with active confidence, the kind that comes from knowing God’s timing cannot be rushed or ruined.
You are not falling behind.
You are being fortified.
And now, it is time to rise.
Everything that felt buried was never dead. It was planted.
Your roots have caught hold. Your faith has found its ground.
Step forward into the new life that has been waiting on your “yes.”
🙏 Closing Prayer / Affirmation
Lord, teach me to trust Your process.
I release the need to see everything right now.
Let my roots go deep enough that even when life feels uncertain, I remain grounded in You.
Help me rest in faith, not frustration. Help me rest in assurance, not anxiety.
I know You have not brought me this far to leave me here.
Amen.
🌿 Trust is the quiet growth that happens when you stop digging up what you planted.
🌿 The soil is working.
🌿 So is God.
✨ Pause and feel that! That is the peace of knowing you are still growing.
✨ Keep breathing. Keep believing. Keep moving forward.
With grace and grit 💜
