🌿 Mindset Matters
Uprooting Faulty Inner Agreements
You have done the heart work of tilling your soil and setting boundaries around what matters most.
Now it is time to walk your garden rows and look closer at what has been growing inside.
Some of the roots we will find here did not start with us. They were planted by fear, watered by words, and left to grow unchecked.
These are the faulty inner agreements we made without realizing it, the quiet beliefs that whisper:
• “I have to stay small to stay safe.”
• “If I am quiet, I will not be rejected.”
• “Strong means I cannot need help.”
But those are not truths. They are weeds disguised as wisdom. 🌾
If you want your harvest to flourish, you have to pull them up gently but completely.
💜 Your Authority in Transformation
You are not powerless in your transformation.
God has given you authority over your own soil.
Every thought that rises against your peace must bow.
You are not just tending a garden; you are reclaiming sacred ground.
What you permit in your mind eventually shows up in your life.
Faulty agreements grow into faulty patterns, and faulty patterns produce familiar pain.
But the moment you pull one up by the root, heaven and earth agree with your freedom.
✨ Stillness Check-In
Take a slow breath. Picture your inner garden.
Which thoughts, phrases, or memories keep surfacing when you try to grow forward?
Where do you feel tension in your body when those thoughts appear? In your chest, your stomach, your throat?
That is where a faulty agreement is holding space.
If you cannot see or feel it clearly yet, do not rush. Ask God to bring to the surface what has been growing beneath the soil of your thoughts. He never reveals to shame. He reveals to heal.
📖 Scripture
“Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”
— 2 Corinthians 10:5 NKJV
Every belief is a seed.
Every seed once planted produces fruit.
Good or bad.
When you take your thoughts captive, you reclaim authority over your harvest.
When God invites you to notice your thoughts, He is showing you the seeds that have been shaping your harvest.
🌱 Today’s Invitation
1️⃣ Identify One Faulty Agreement
Ask yourself, What unspoken rule has been shaping my choices or silencing my voice?
Write it down honestly. Bring it into the light.
You cannot heal what you keep hidden. Light is where freedom begins.
Examples:
🪻 “I always have to be the strong one.”
🌿 “Good things do not last for me.”
🍄 “If I let people in, I will be hurt again.”
2️⃣ Uproot It with Truth
Truth is the trowel that breaks hard soil.
Ask, What does God say about this?
Example:
💔 Agreement: “I have to earn love.”
💜 Truth: “I am already loved. I was chosen before I performed.”
3️⃣ Replant with Intention
Now that you have pulled the weed, fill the space with something that bears fruit.
Choose truth that feeds your future.
Write one new truth to meditate on this week.
Speak it out loud every morning as you water your thoughts with faith.
Examples:
🌱 “I walk in grace and overflow in peace.”
🌱 “I am rooted in trust and growing in love.”
🌱 “God is rewriting my story with hope and purpose.”
📝 Journal Prompt
Your journal is not just paper; it is sacred ground.
Every word you write becomes a seed of renewal.
• What faulty inner agreement have I been living under that it is time to break?
• How has this belief shaped how I show up in relationships or opportunities?
• What truth can I walk in instead?
Each time you recognize a lie, write it down and replace it with a planted truth.
📒 Complete the Mindset Agreements worksheet and be prepared to discuss it in session.
🌟 Extending the Practice of Mindset Matters
Breaking faulty inner agreements is not about shame. It is about stewardship.
It is about noticing what has been growing in your soil and deciding that your garden deserves better tending.
Because when you tend your garden with intention, heaven partners with your effort.
Transformation is not a solo act.
You pull the weeds, but God brings the rain.
You plant the truth, but His Spirit brings the growth.
Inside the coaching space we will focus on identifying root beliefs, those hidden seeds that bloom as hesitation, guilt, or self-sabotage.
Together we will replant with boldness, affirmation, and alignment.
This is where renewal becomes transformation.
🙏 Closing Prayer / Affirmation
Lord, thank You for revealing what has been planted in my heart.
Show me the roots that need to be pulled up and replaced with truth.
Give me courage to burn faulty agreements and faith to embrace new growth.
I trust that every space I clear, You will fill with light and life.
Amen.
🌿 Every belief you reclaim restores your power.
🌿 Every truth you plant multiplies your peace.
🌿 Every act of obedience is heaven’s evidence that you are still becoming.
✨ You are not just tending your garden. You are taking dominion over it.
It’s already here.
With grace and grit 💜
